Yoga and Pelvic Floor Series

  • What you will learn:

    • How your voice, pelvic floor, and respiratory diaphragm work together.

    • How to relax as well as activate your pelvic floor according to the demands of the yoga pose.

    • Strategies for improving low back, hip, and SIJ health.

Medical Therapeutic Yoga Series

  • This series focuses on principles of stability, gentle breathing, and pain science to introduce you to practicing yoga according to the needs of your body.

  • This is the class for you if you’ve struggled finding a class due to an injury or have a need for slower pace.

  • 4 x 60-75 minute classes, $80 total cost

  • What you will learn:

    • How to use breath and voice for strength and resilience.

    • How to adapt yoga poses to emphasize your body's needs and to respect normal range of motion.

    • Traditional, standing only, chair, floor and wall sun salutations.

  • Resilience is your ability to encounter and recover from stressful events in your life, be they positive or negative. The more markers for resilience present in your life, the more likely you are to recover from chronic and persistent pain.

  • This workshop is for you if you want to learn simple yoga and lifestyle strategies for working with pain and stress.

  • 2 x 60 minute videos, $35 total cost

  • What you will learn:

    • Gentle yoga poses incorporating pain science, breathing, and massage techniques.

    • How prolonged stress can cause pain or other health problems.

    • How to target simple, natural strategies for boosting resilience that are specific to your interests.
